I’ve surrounded myself with 4 mentors who are professionals in their fields, and whose expertise I draw upon for my clients. These are not just people I met once for coffee – these are people I have met personally, multiple times, and with whom I have developed personal relationships. I’ve also been exposed first hand to their expertise, knowledge, and ability to provide me and my clients with the best possible tools to succeed.
What does this mean for you? As my client, you not only have me – but also a team of professionals whose knowledge and expertise we can draw upon anytime. So really, you’re getting 5 brains in one! Pretty cool? Wait ’till you meet them:
Brian Justin
Brian is a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP), an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, CSEP- Certified Personal Trainer, CHEK Level 1 Practitioner (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiologist) , CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2, Functional Movement Screen Level 1 specialist, Somatic Exercise Coach, and NASM Performance Enhancement and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Quite the mouthful, hey?
Brian’s superpower is his ability to draw upon pieces of knowledge from his varied background to come up with out-of-the-box corrective exercise strategies for issues that would leave the average health practitioner completely puzzled. Whenever you’ll hear me say things like “hmmm…that’s interesting” or “let me look into that a bit more and get back to you” that’s likely a future chat between me and Brian.
Finally (and perhaps most importantly!) Brian is a huge fan of the Avengers!
Michal Ofer
Michal is a is functional nutritionist and nutritional consultant working with groups and individuals looking to improve their general well-being. Her primary focus is on gut health, and repairing digestive damage associated with modern lifestyle and conventional dietary recommendation.
She has studied health and nutrition extensively through multiple programs including the Institute of Functional Medicine, the University of Stanford, the University of Colorado and The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Here’s what she had to say about me:
Irina’s approach to life, learning, herself and her clients is to always ask why and look to understand the topic at hand. From a nutrition perspective, Irina has always questioned, challenged and searched for deeper meaning and actionable comprehension of how food and the digestive tract relate to optimal physical function. It is clear this is a process she takes with her into every aspect of her life and those who work with her are fortunate to benefit from her inquiring mind, ever seeking knowledge to improve on what she does and how she coaches.

Brenda Adams
Brenda has been in the fitness industry for almost 20 years, in a variety of capacities. She’s earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from SFU; she’s a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (a life coach); has her master’s degree in adult education; and finally, she’s just started pursuing her PhD.
She is also the co-founder of the Personal Training Collective, the organization I am a member of, and that is exposing me to this amazing group of mentors.
Any time my clients struggle with motivation, staying on track, or are dealing with “life stuff” that they need a bit of support with, Brenda’s expertise comes in handy! Here’s what Brenda had to say about me:
Irina is not your typical Personal Trainer! While lots of Personal Trainers love to learn, what makes Irina stand out is that she takes what she learns and turns it into practical lessons she can teach her clients. She challenges the status quo and always looks for better ways to do things, or to help her clients. She is curious, seeks to understand and is fully dedicated to helping her clients be at their best. Irina puts the unique needs of her clients first, always. If you are looking for someone who will listen to you, who will work with you to create a lifestyle plan that fits you and who will always put your best interests first (not her ego or her profit), you need to talk to Irina.
