Women and men are different – our bodies are different; our hormone cycles are different; our needs are different. So why should we train the same? We really shouldn’t.

Women’s personal training is aimed at getting you to work out in a way that works with your body rather than pushing through no matter what. Women’s personal training is for you if:

  • You’ve noticed your body is changing: more belly fat, or a change in body composition towards less muscle and more fat
  • You are entering perimenopause (noticing irregular periods, fluctuating hormones, moods, or just feel that you are at that stage); are entering menopause, or are post-menopausal
  • You want to maintain/increase your strength and fitness abilities but you are new to it all, aren’t sure where to start, or don’t know what exercises are best for you
  • You are looking for expert guidance to make sure you are doing things right and with proper form
  • You are looking for understanding that you are not “imagining” things: your body really is changing (and that’s ok!) and you may require a different approach to working out than what has worked in the past
  • You want sessions that take into account: how you are feeling that day; where you are at in your cycle (and how that can affect your strength and stamina!), your energy levels, your sleep, your mood
  • You want to explore a variety of workout intensities – sometimes lifting heavy, but other times focusing on core, glutes, balance and coordination

GST applies to all prices listed above. I accept e-transfer as my preferred method of payment. For The Determined and The Go-Getter packages, payment can take place as a lump sum, or every 6 sessions. The Teaser package is processed as a lump sum.

*The Tone Every Zone Virtual Studio is a collection of professionally edited routines meant to complement our in-person training sessions. These routines focus on key aspects of fitness such as core engagement, glute activation, balance, and flexibility. It will be an important part of your training, which is why it’s included with every package.

** Should nutrition be something you want us to work on together, I will give you various handouts, and ask you keep a food diary to become more aware of your eating habits. Then, we will work on changing your eating habits from there.  I do not provide meal planning, or macro calculations, as these are short term fixes that don’t always result in long lasting change.
